'A Home Away From Home'
Boarding at The Village International School is a great way to take advantage of all that the school has to offer, both from an academic point of view as well as the numerous clubs and activities on offer after school day. The environment at the school motivates and inspires students to discover more and the world around them, and evolve into leaders of tomorrow, in the community and a broader global context. The Village has instituted a 'Code of Conduct' with clearly defined parameters that stimulates students to assume a responsible role in the boarding community.
Separate boarding houses are provided to both boys and girls. A team of well-trained staff looks after the needs of the children giving them a 'Home away from Home'. The boarders enjoy dormitories that are centrally air-conditioned and comfortable. Ergonomically designed two tier beds with added storage space are provided along with cupboard and shelf spaces for each boarder. External tutors and tutors from within the school are arranged to support the academic needs of the students in the hostel.
Fresh and nutritious meal plan is prepared by the dietician to cater to the health needs of growing children. Fully self-contained with modern amenities, the boarding section will be administered by a superintendent of boarding who will be assisted by skilled and dedicated staff. Boarders can look forward to the entire range of sporting activities like basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, swimming and athletics along with other co-curricular activities.
